The property that would become Conner Prairie was purchased by Eli Lilly in 1934 and was immediately used to connect people with history in ways books could not. Being a man of tremendous forethought, Eli Lilly placed Conner Prairie in a charitable trust in 1964 and provided an endowment to ensure it remained a community asset for future generations to enjoy.
Your gift to Conner Prairie builds upon Eli Lilly’s forethought and signals to the community your belief in the Museum’s ambitious 30-year master plan to expand the boundaries of our historical and natural resources by exploring, celebrating, and improving the human experience.
